Students protest against Maoist violence

Armed policemen runs towards main gate after firing the tear gas shell inside the premises of Thapathali Engineering Campus during the student protest on Friday December 19,2008. Hundreds of student activists of Nepal Student Union, a student organization of Nepal’s main opposition Nepal Congress Party, staged protest rally against Maoist autocracy despite leading the multi party government. Students burned one government owned vehicle and vandalized dozen cars and motorbike, where at least dozen students and police were injured.
